Service Level Agreement

Last updated: [DATE]

This agreement is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to workspaces on a paid plan of the hosted service. It does not cover the Free plan or self-hosted installations.

The service will be available at least 99.5% of each calendar month.

The service counts as available when the API at app.typefold.dev answers requests. Our external monitoring checks it every few minutes, and the public status page at status.typefold.dev records every outage. Downtime runs from the first failed check to the first successful one after it.

Monthly uptime is the minutes in the month, minus the minutes of downtime, as a percentage of the minutes in the month. Excluded time, below, does not count as downtime.

  • Maintenance announced on the status page at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Outages caused by you, your content or your systems, or by use that breaks the Terms of Service.
  • A workspace that is suspended, or that has reached a plan limit.
  • Problems on the internet outside our hosting provider’s network.
  • Events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, or the failure of a public utility.
  • Features we label as preview or beta.

If monthly uptime falls below the commitment, you can claim a credit on that month’s plan fee:

Monthly uptime Credit
Below 99.5% 10%
Below 99.0% 25%

For a yearly plan, the month’s fee is one twelfth of the yearly price.

To claim, email [email protected] within 30 days after the end of the month, with your workspace name and the month. We confirm the downtime against the status page and apply the credit to your next payment. Credits have no cash value and lapse if the plan ends.

Service credits are your only remedy for downtime.
